Working on pastel today for Mackinac Island show. &amp;nbsp;Will show picture later today Will be teaching classes for pastel &amp;nbsp;on April 21 for the Clinton County Arts Council. &amp;nbsp; Call me or them to register for 6 weeks.</content>

		<content type="html">&lt;img src="http://images.quickblogcast.com/4/8/2/4/7/184870-174284/rainybarn.JPG?a=11" style="border: 0px solid;"&gt;we started a simple landscape painting in my Thursday AM class to demonstrate some principles used.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The sky is usually your lightest area with the ground being about a medium value and buildings being darker.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I am using acrylic and putting in darker tones under neath the grass, we are also exploring lost and found, hard and soft edges which is so important with painting.
